Live30 webinars pack the latest innovations and applications into a data-rich 30-minute session.
Discover a streamlined, ex vivo T cell expansion workflow using GMP-compliant ancillary reagents.
This webinar presents a14-day animal-component free GMP ex vivo bioprocessing workflow where leukopak-derived T cells were expanded using GMP-grade human AB serum alternatives. Results demonstrate xeno-free or chemically defined serum substitutes support greater cell expansion while maintaining high viability across all time points. Attendees will see how GMP-compliant ancillary reagents enable a robust expansion of T cells without prior enrichment, supported by comprehensive phenotypic and functional analysis.
Attend this webinar to:
- Compare T cell expansion and viability data for serum substitutes versus human AB serum across a 14-day ex vivo T cell culture.
- Achieve over 90% T cell purity from leukopak-derived material without upfront enrichment, simplifying the workflow and reducing processing time.
- Interpret phenotypic data on T cell populations to preserve subsets linked to persistence and efficacy.
- Apply functional readouts, including cytokine secretion kinetics and activation marker expression to determine culture duration and harvest timing.
- Learn how defined, GMP-compliant ancillary reagents can improve reproducibility, streamline manufacturing workflows, and support overall process performance.
The session will be presented by Zayda L. Piedra, Applications Scientist at BioLegend, whose work spans immunology, cell biology, and translational research, with a focus on advancing bioprocessing strategies for cell therapy development.
Register now to see how defined, GMP-compliant reagents can improve reproducibility and process control across your ex vivo T cell workflow.
